Default Corbin Carroll Rookie Super Missing (non-auto)

Hello,

I sold this card a couple weeks ago on ebay to a buyer in Taiwan. I don't know what happened to it, but I did see the video on YT recently talking about stolen cards out of Santa Ana. If you see this out and about, it's stolen.

Nov 5 - delivered to authentication in Santa Ana, CA
Nov 6 - item authenticated
- tracking number provided

And then... nothing.

Sounds like it may still be at the Authentication. eBay would be on the hook to buyer for any refund, do not refund the buyer yourself for this.

Depends on the address they used; if it went to a drop-shipper, it may still go through Authentication.

A tracking number doesn't mean it has entered the mail stream yet.

Authenticator had it , verified it and you are no longer on the hook. It is all on Authenticators now to get card to buyer. I would not worry at all.

I sold a $200 Judge to a guy in Canada in early August and in September came the where is my card. Card made it to EBAY Hub in Illinois and had shipped from there. I was no longer on the hook. It made it to customs and stalled. Ebays problem not mine and they refunded not me.

Correct. That is why I'm concerned. And ebay is concerned. If it's gone, gone, then we can tell at what step in the process... kinda

You say:

Nov 5 - delivered to authentication in Santa Ana, CA
Nov 6 - item authenticated
- tracking number provided

And then... nothing.

Why are you concerned? It was authenticated and at their facility. This is on them now not you.

Because people still like their customers to get the items they pay for, even if they're not on the hook for reimbursement.

My buyer does not speak English and asked me to act on his behalf. Also, because stealing is bad? I hope if I'm in his situation some day that my seller will support me as well.

Bumping for advice. This card is still missing. I want to report it stolen so that when it resurfaces I can help get it to the buyer. If it went missing in Santa Ana CA, does he make the report with the police there or ... how does that work? Considering tracking never indicated FedEx took possession, I think it would be local authorities?

If eBay refunded the buyer, which they should’ve done, the card will be eBay’s property if it is ever discovered. In addition, it is eBay’s responsibility to file a police report if they so choose.

Isn't it both? I think PSA is doing ebay authentication. But, more likely, I'm misunderstanding what you asked.
