While I'm sure you know, I want to review the minutes of the previous meeting. It seems that while a quorum was reached for the motion at the full faculty meeting, I don't think we had the quorum for the committee that presented the motion. If this is true, I think we need to send this back to committee to meet quorum there. As this is the final full faculty meeting of the year, it seems that we could reach quorum in the committee possibly in August, but September seems more likely. As our October faculty meeting is promised for faculty development, we should be able to pass the motion in November if enough folks aren't out for the fall holidays. Obviously December won't be possible. So maybe next January would be best for the agenda? This means we could implement the suggested motion for academic year 26-27.

Bonus points if the October faculty "development" includes a session where new technology is introduced by the tenured full prof who has college aged grandchildren.

Of course the new tech only answers the extensive problem of "what do I do with my professional development funds considering my introductory course hasn't had an updated syllabus in a decade", but provides no meaningful resource for students or faculty.

Lived it for 5 years

Will attempt to get back in the good graces of the academic elites in 5ish years…would be great to be on the same campus as my kids…definitely has nothing to do with the free tuition and/or reciprocity for children of full time employees…
