True. That being said I will note that I have been wrong on occasion. I thought the 2008 designs were awful when they were released and now they are among my favorites. On the other end of the spectrum, I loved the 2015s but now they seem dated.

I'm not sure that they increase the print run again. The market has softened, and retail is pretty much available this year, ie the demand isn't there.

Agreed. Would have been much better in the upper left IMO.

In general, I dig the design…including the headshot. 1983 remains my favorite Topps release, partially due to the headshot. This iteration is a lot “busier” due to no border and cutting off the city. But I’m general, I’m liking it. Really like the team logo stretched over the name.

Topps gonna Topps…so who knows, but your logic is dead on. My LCS was trying to dump at cost after holding for 6 months. Sooooo much series 1 and 2 is sitting unopened and unwanted. I can’t see how this is a good thing for Topps and the bloodsucking distributors. You’d THINK they’d cut back considerably.

Yes…. the RC logo kinda crammed in with other details diminishes the fact that it is a RC - as opposed to highlighted and not blended in with a buncha’ other graphics like it is ….Kinda’ surprising the Topps people didn’t think this way

Dont forget the eventual 1st edition logo. So dumb they obscured the team name. What's with making things so hard to read.

Pretty cool design I think. Minus the head shot. I am afraid that the new Indy will be one of the little stars at the bottom red and the other blue. Boom,-Indy.

I love the 83 and 84 designs but this really needed some type of border around the headshot. Design would be much better if they removed the headshot entirely

Topps does not have to worry if distributors buy it all.
That's the fun part for them.

They hold nothing.

My first thought was it reminded me of 1984. Overall, I like it. Not their best but certainly not their worst. A little weird that the team logo gets so much real estate, but definitely makes the design unique. Agree that RC logo would be better in top left corner.

I’ll give it solid B.
