Question about Traveling to the National and bringing Cards

So I'm flying to the National and just bringing a personal item (backpack) and a 20" carryon. I'm probably bringing around 20-30 cards but I also want to bring my sealed box of FOTL NT Basketball for trade/sell. But my main concern is if I would to put the NT box in my carryon, is there a chance it triggers something during the xray scan that would require them to open the sealed box? Also would there be any interest if I bring the box there?

They will try and open it. I had to argue with them when I had sealed cases.
