I have an addictive personality. I've been addicted to sports cards, women, and MMORPGS. If you are "feast or famine" as you say, then it is probably best that you leave it all behind.

When you finally decide to leave the addiction behind it is so freeing!

I'm back into to cards now, but I've learned to only dabble. I spent about $600 on cards this year as opposed to $10,000 last year.

I have a lot of people holding me accountable now too. So, if I slip up I will have a check there. The truth is that I love cards, but I can't always make good decisions with my money because of my lack of self-discipline.

If that's you, then you should definitely take an extended break. You'll enjoy the freedom. Maybe you never come back. Maybe you do come back. Whatever you do, be well!
Well said, thanks pal. Peace and health to you and yours!

I bet there are lots like us. I'm just thankful I've decided to exit at a time I can profit (somewhat) from my cards as opposed to getting ass raped.
