Think its just a mixture of a lot of things. Personally I don't think he should have had a lot of say in coaching decisions, but idk if theyd have been much better with Nick Nurse with how injury luck and such played out. I think they built this team for the pre-new CBA environment and the 2nd apron rules rolled in right in time to cripple them and make it so they had to win with what they had. Idk how much of that can really be pinned on him outside of the Griffin hire and just expressing a desire for them to build to try to win now, though. He's been hard carrying them for a few years now.
I think the Bucks should have moved him and Dame a year earlier but I guess a lot of the fans would have been more upset.
