Opinions on the hobby in regards to John Wall

so last season, most of his midrange product Auto's sold for roughly $90-120

then the season ends and the lockout happens

as of now, Auto RC's , from stuff like R&S, Prestige, Timeless Treasures, Donruss can now be had around $75

Obviously the lockout hasn't hurt the high end stuff like National Treasures, and even his Gold Standard Auto's have still done well

what would it take for his cards to climb back to original selling points?? a few games into the season and Wall putting up good stats??

are they low enough where it would take a playoff appearance?
