The defensive versatility gives them a much higher floor than they've had in previous seasons and with Dyson and Hunter hitting open 3's it opens up Trae and JJ for creation. They're now winning games they typically lose. The game vs LA was a typical Hawks loss in the past, as was any game where Trae shoots 0-9 from 3. The fact that they're winning these types of games means they've pushed their timeline up significantly.

It’s funny half the time I have to do a double take when I’m watching to figure out who’s who between Risacher/Dyson/Jalen
Dyson has way exceeded my expectations, the offense is still a work in progress but he has a really unique instinct for poking the ball away from active ball handlers and jumping passing lanes.
Jalen is on the perennial all star trajectory. Not sure about multi time all nba guy yet but he certainly could be.
The Hawks have become really interesting after drafting him at 20 and then getting Dyson as a throw in
