Whether it's worth the contract is up to the owner, I guess. But compared to other contracts, it seems reasonable. I mean, you get a player getting MVP votes every year and top tier in WAR every year. What more can you ask for from a guy?

Last season he put up outstanding Low Leverage stats. This season his High and Medium Leverage performances are much better. He is beginning to have vital hits.
