Hello from Virginia
Afternoon!
I am actually fairly close to the Blowout Cards store in Virginia and just went there last week for the first time.
I have recently decided to go through my late 80s, 90s, and early 2000s stuff with some 2020-current (mostly hockey) to try to sell what I can, and donate/trash what is just super common junk. I have been debating between ebay, COMC, FB, here, etc. and just trying to learn modern day collecting.
I will start by collecting Wild cards that I enjoy - no desire to try to get every person that ever suited up just quite yet, but I will refine my PC once I have room/clear mind from getting rid of my old stuff.
I also have collectibles from comics to mini-busts, etc. Otherwise I love hockey (originally from MN), training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and paintball when I can (getting old sucks).
If anyone has any general advice, I am all ears. I have a lot of base cards from various sets (no full sets, unfortunately) that I am not sure what to do with - if local stores buy them in bulk for their dollar bin - or if it's best to try to sell as one lot, or just simply donate. For the 2-10 dollar range, I plan to try out COMC, and those that are more, probably Ebay.
Look forward to spending time here and learning more about modern collecting from all of you - thanks!
