Most of the hate I see directed against BBCE is from people who have no idea what they're talking about and they're making ridiculous claims based on the fact that they don't know the difference between a FASC and a non-FASC box, or they just don't understand the basic nature of the vintage unopened market.
No authentication is ever going to be perfect. The question is whether it's good enough to create some value and, if so, is the value worth the price. In BBCE's case, you'd have to be completely braindead to think it's not worth the price, but there are plenty of brain dead people around the hobby, so here we are.
