This set literally looks like it could have been released in July 2021 opposed to July 2022.

It was definitely printed in 2021 as that is the year on the bottom backs of the cards. I believe it was printed sometime between mid-August to mid-October as Al Farouq Aminu is in the base set. He is shown in a Bulls uniform which he played the end of the 2020/21 season with, but he is listed on the card on the Spurs and there is a note on the front saying he was traded to the Spurs on 8/11/21. He ended up getting waived by the Spurs in October 2021 before the regular season started.
Another example of it being printed back in Fall of 2021 is that Ersan was included in an autograph set. He had not been in any other 2021/22 products because he wasn't on a team at all and was a free agent, so he couldn't be included in any products since he had no team. It must have been OK to include him in Prizm though since the product was already physically produced before the season actually began.
