Tornado hits town 2 miles from me

I’m sure many of you have saw on even national news but the town I went to high school and where I live about 2 miles from got hit with a tornado last night. It formed about 2 miles away from my house and left a path of destruction for 21 minutes. 1,000 buildings were damaged and the YMCA is a total loss. Preliminary results list it as an EF-3. Fortunately nobody was killed and there are reporting only 4 minor injuries. My best friend’s house has minimal damage but some of her neighbors weren’t as lucky.
Here are some pictures I got of the tornado. Yes I was outside watching it form and everything. No I don’t recommend it but I was not in the path. It formed very quickly. In my 28 years of living in Kansas I have never actually seen a tornado. Had 2 close calls (one a few streets over) but it was too dark to see them. Very thankful that nobody died or anyone got seriously injured and it could have been so much worse.
