I agree with you buying in auctions will give you your best deals. Auctions tend to sell for 30% to 50% less then what an item sells for in my store.

With me I would prefer to sell of that hot rookie now and and recover my money from my cases that I break. I find that the biggest profit is on the rookies everyone passes on when a product is released. Most of them are just learning the system and takes 2-5 years before they see significant playing time to have a major impact on any team.

I've got about 6 cards to sell by June and I'm pricing them to move. Hoping for some great deals at the National in July. Low buying the first few days could mean awesome prices as dealers realize they can't get inflated prices.
