Default thoughts about certified in football? i don't get these 1/1s

i mostly collect hoops but i use to collect peyton manning and aaron rodgers so i cant help but check ebay for their cards from time to time to see what the market is doing. i have a lot of panini certified basketball in my collection and i know some of the cards are now worth quite a bit - kobe, KD, etc. but what about in football? is certified not valued among football collectors? i ask because i saw these 1/1s and some of the big names are at like 12-13 bucks or 30-40 bucks in some cases and that doesn't even come close to covering the grading cost.

just curious if this is like exquisite where the brand is just way more valued in basketball than it is in football.
