Self made people don't need to brag because they have nothing to prove.
Gary V isn't self made. He may have worked hard but the dude was gifted a multimillion dollar wine business. He started on 3rd base, he could take massive risks because he had a huge safety net.
He's a great marketer but much of his "came from dirt" story that he loves to parade around isn't what it seems
