Off-season prices and eBay loophole for sellers...
So I've been buying up a few things lately, cards that sold for double during the season but are affordable now, and I can't understand why sellers are just rolling things out rather than waiting.
Anywho, a couple of times recently I've won something (coincidentally for my maximum price) only to have them cancelled by the sellers. Both times the reason has been 'damaged or out of stock', and one of them was literally just minutes after it ended. At least the second seller messaged me (after cancelling) to tell me one of the two items on the lot was damaged, yet didn't respond to me asking him to show me the damage......
The fact that these cancellations prevent you from leaving feedback, isn't this just an easy way for sellers to not like the selling price and just choose not to sell it for that, and get away with it? Literally the only thing you can do is report the seller (which isn't super easy/straight forward and I'm sure eBay will do nothing), unable to warn other bidders.
How can eBay allow this??
