So, I buy a couple of decently expensive cards off of Ebay. When I get the cards they are not as described, and they have damage and defects that couldn't be seen from the sh*t pictures the guy took. They were high end 90's inserts of Jordan, and in the pictures they looked to be legit, I figured there was a solid chance they could 9. There's no chance these cards are 9'ing, they'd be lucky to 7.
What made it worse is that in the description (which is what I largely went off of, being the pics weren't that great), he said "corners are sharp, cards in great shape, will grade very highly"...well, they won't grade highly. Not close. I go to file the return and he's saying they didn't leave his house that way, which very well may be true, but it isn't my problem. I bought them expecting one thing, and got something entirely different, and now he tells me to "file a claim with the shipping company". I think this is bullsh*t personally, why should I have to put in work to get my money back? Anyone have any experience in this? I'm in the "right" here, aren't I? I know if I were on the other end, I'd gladly process the return. My business is largely built on Amazon sales, so I'm familiar with shipping companies wrecking my products. Only thing I've ever asked of a customer in this instance is to send pictures to assist in MY claim, never would I push it onto the customer. To me, that seems like bad business, and unprofessional.
