Breakers selling Sapphire for $120/pack are cruising through it, still. So that's $960/box minus fees, shipping, etc... and is pretty "easy money" for them. Other breakers still moving through it fairly quickly in mixer type breaks, too.
So we'd need something to change people's desire to open these up for even a small increase in price to make a big difference. $120/pack isn't great EV... so $150/pack isn't a whole lot worse. That gets you to 1200 for someone opening it and probably a reasonable 1k/box "cost" would be acceptable.
Singles prices are stable for Haaland base raw. PSA 10 volume is tougher to tell... a stray 1500 auction sale... an accepted offer just days before that at 3500. Yellow /99 going for ("only") $5500. Pair of Haaland/Fati at $4k. FEELS like $2500 would be where the base may be in reality. BINs sitting for 3500. PSA 9's in the 1k range or a little below for a BIN. Growing pop count. Below the peak. And I don't think is going to go up near term without some Buyer's Club support.
Fati is down as you'd expect. But still strong at 450-500 for a raw. These had a few stray sales above $700, though, not too long ago. PSA 10 feels sub-$1500 with some at that point BIN sitting there. So maybe close to it. Plus it is apparently the CLEANEST card in the history of modern cards with black labels popping out all over the place.
I think it adds up to some support at $1k. Beyond that may be tough unless we get a breakout from someone else. Mount's efforts recently could help with that. Maybe this summer if a guy like Koita goes to Dortmund to replace Haaland or something like that.
Once Prizm hits I think it fades pretty fast at that price with current singles prices. As bad as that product is, even. People will move to the next shiny thing.
