In order to get volume to profit like that you have to buy on the secondary market, which would cut into your profit a bit. Not saying it wouldn’t be profitable, but it isn’t life changing and flipping wax isn’t easy, especially for the profits you’re getting.

That $15K into Prizm Retail back in Oct/Nov could have been dropped into almost
any card asset and returned greater margins or similar.

Could have had the Lebron Black Chrome PSA 10 that sold last August, and pocketed $120K. Could have bough Zion Bass Prizms raw @ $30, had 500, graded them all at $12 a pop for another $6K, received a 30% gem rate (it would have been higher) and unloaded JUST THE GEMS for $100K.

You can’t get a stranglehold on wax to cash out like that. Since you can only get bits and scraps, for a lot of people it’s not worth the hassle. Especially Chronicles wax (which started this cesspool topic).
Could I have got $60k of Prizm at MSRP? Probably not but like an idiot I mostly only bought hangers and Target megas. Even not knowing schedules or anything back then I without a doubt left over 200 blasters, 200 packs, 50 Walmart megas at stores. That's not even accounting for all the other 19-20 college retail and 18-19 Chronicles skus I didn't buy at MSRP. But again we weren't talking at MSRP. Your whole thing was you wouldn't buy at resale prices. For quite awhile you could of bought 19-20 Prizm basketball retail boxes at under 2x MSRP. They now sell for over 10x MSRP. But between Walmart cancellations, what I opened, and what I passed up probably could of bought at least $25k at MSRP.

How the heck is flipping the #1 retail product of 2019-20 not easy? Flipping Illusions is not easy right now. All the major buyers will buy Prizm. You aren't gonna sell it all to one person. But between the distributors, ebay, facebook, single buyers, breakers, you wouldn't have a probably moving it unless we are talking into the 7 figures worth.

I can't speak for the Lebron. Zion Prizm raws in good shape were not going for $30. $50 maybe. 133 Zion Prizm PSA 10s are not selling for $100k right now. They are $550-$600. If you sent them in bulk order you still probably wouldn't have gotten them back lol. If they had them in hand to sell you would have had to pay the $20 a card rate.

Regardless you're making my point for me. There has been money falling off trees the last couple years. What reason wouldn't you want any of this free money? You aren't saying you're like me that it's missed opportunities. You said you didn't want the hobby to make money. So either you don't need the money or something else is wrong.
