Maybe. We'll see.
Few years back I ran this and no one came close, so let's try again! The contest rules are simple. All entries must be stamped before 8pm ET tonight and each user is permitted one entry max. (Maximum 200 total entries). Posts cannot be edited in this thread, for if there is an edit, you are eliminated. To play, you need to make a list of NINE playoff teams. This list should start with the team you believe will be the FIRST to be eliminated from the post-season and should finish with the team you believe will be the LAST to be eliminated from the post-season. So the very first team on your least needs to be the Nationals or Brewers and the very second team on your list needs to be the Athletics or the Rays. From there; go with God. To win, you must do one of the following two things: Grand Prize (2013 Topps Finest '93 Finest and All Star Complete Insert Set) (1-100) - Everyone who lists all 9 eliminated teams from the MLB season in proper chronological order. Runner Up (Clayton Kershaw Topps Update RC PSA 10) - The first person who can correctly list all eliminated teams through the Divisional Round in chronological order (6 eliminations) and accurately predict the WS winner. To give you guys an example of what your entry should look like, it's just a list of the teams you believe will be eliminated and the order in which it will happen, real time. Here's my list, for example. Brewers Athletics Rays Braves Yankees Nationals Twins Cardinals Dodgers Timing is everything. Good luck and please fire off any questions you might have. Should there be a tie where two teams are eliminated during the exact same minute of the day, then we'll do this like horse-racing. They both qualify in either position.
