Hello from Champaign IL

I've been lurking for a bit but finally decided to post something.

I used to sell cards at flea markets when I was a youngster but got out of the hobby for quite awhile. I recently got back in and have been enjoying it again. (it didn't hurt that my Cubbies finally put together a great season in 2016!)

Our closest local card shop is an hour away in Normal, IL. However, I try to pick up a few packs at Target / Meijer when the budget allows. There is so much variety now vs when I used to collect/sell in the late 80s/early 90s. I always enjoyed the 1987 Topps cards because of the wood grain look. The 2017 Topps have a few of those inserts and that has been really exciting to me!

Anyway, thanks for having me and hope to talk to many of you on the boards. Go Cubs!
