Default FS/FT - Mark McGwire 90s/00s Inserts/Parallels/Numbered/Refactors/Etc - Scans

Hello all,

I have been collecting McGwire cards for many years now and have amassed a fun collection of over 4,500 unique cards. My focus has been mostly cards and game used in particular, although I inevitability wound up with a bunch of other stuff too (a bat, balls, posters, pictures, coins, and so on). Along with these other non-card items, I have amassed quite a mini collection of duplicates. I honestly don't do a whole lot of selling, so I just keep piling them up. It's time to pass these along to other McGwire collectors (or insert/set collectors) who will appreciate them. My preference would be to trade these cards for other McGwires I am missing. Ultimately, if I cannot find someone to trade with, they could be sold too. Anyways, to the scans!!

Oh and FYI, I only collect cards through 2004, a little after he retired and they stopped producing new cards of his....for a while at least. I can't possibly keep up with the new stuff, so I drew the line at 2004. I don't have a trade list necessarily as there are still darn near 1,000 cards I still "need" on my list. I happen to keep track of my cards on Joe's onionring website - onionring9's Mark McGwire List (Viewing onionring9) (I know he has a new site, I just like the old one). For those who haven't seen it before, it is pretty user friendly. My collection can be viewed by chosing the user "delsant2" from the drop down. The rest should be easy. Ok, for real this time...to the scans!

1998 Pinnacle Epix. Ohhh, so pretty.

A sample of some lower serial numbered stuff.

Random assortment.
Middle left is a 2002 Topps 206 card, Cycle Brand variation in a white Cardinals uniform

Sample of refactors.

Another random assortment.
Bottom middle is the gold foil version (MUCH more rare)

Some random Pacific stuff.
Middle middle is a 2000 Crwon Royale Proof. Kinda hard to see in the scan. It's a VERY thin card made on what almost seems to be a film.
Bottom middle is a 1997 Pacific Collection - Silver foil. Looks kinda blue in the picture, but in person I am nearly positive it is silver.
Bottom right is a 1998 Pacific Collection - Platinum Blue.

Tiffanys and other random cards.

Heres some pretty good stuff! Ever see one of those SPx Radiance Trade cards?
Top middle is a 1997 Select - Tools of the Trade - Mirror Blue w/Frank Thomas
Middle left is a 1997 SPx - Force Autograph numbered /100 (Albert Belle auto)

Gold signatures, gold stuff.

A sample of some press proofs.

A sample of some "middle of the road" serial numbered stuff.

Fun couple groups of three.

Assortment of mid-level die cuts.

A sample of some artist's proofs.

Promos/Samples/Pre-Productions
The cards with the backs facing out are:
1998 Topps Tek Pre-Production
1996 Leaf Preferred Steel Silver Promo
2001 Donruss Class of 2001 Silver Sample
1998 Donruss Preferred - Great X-Pectations Sample (w/Tony Clark)
1998 Donruss Elite - Prime Numbers Sample #3b
1998 Leaf - Heading to the Hall Sample

Some higher print run serial numbered cards.

These are cool! Some oddball/errors. Some are pretty darn hard to find!!
A 1988 Star Company blank back promo
Two variations of the 1986 BK Huntsville Stars card
1989 Upper Deck hologram variation (hologram has NO ball background)
1995 UD Collector's Choice Crash the Game All-Star
1997 Score - Hobby Reserve...but note the number HR511. Most of these hobby reserve cards came in premium card stock with only 511 on the back, not HR511
1991 Stadium Club - no foil error
1990 Classic - Bo, Rubin, Mark error (card should say AL fence busters)
Here's my favorite. A 2000 Skybox - Skylines Star Rubies error. Notice the foil of the skyline (reddish middle portion of the card) is shiny and refractor-like, just like the SR version, except it lacks the red foil and serial numbering. I thought this was pretty cool anyways.

Three Ultra Diamond Producer cards, three 1998 Prized Collection cards, three other Pacific die cuts.

All the game used duplicates I have here...and one 1997 Pinnacle Xpress - Metal Works Silver /400 (also have the bronze not pictured)

Do let me know if there is anything of interest to you and if you can trade or just want to buy. Again, my preference would be to trade, but I am open to alternatives. Any questions, feel free to ask...here or via PM. FWIW, I have A LOT more duplicates. This is just a sampling of what I have. Some other high-end not pictured, plenty of mid-level stuff not pictured and WAY too many lower level $5-$20 inserts that I haven't bothered to take pictures of. Oh yes, and of course, I have base cards, ha! Probably have over 100 1990 Fleer cards if anyone is interested. Heard they are REALLY valuable!!! What do they say....oh yeah, "my loss, your gain" or "a great investment lot"! Yeah, anyway, so there is plenty more good cards, so if you are interested, I can take more scans/pictures. Thanks and enjoy!

Regards,

Mark
