Since 1980, the United States has invited millions of refugees into our country, including hundreds of thousands from the Middle East. Even thehill.com stated that no refugee has ever carried out an act of terrorism in the United States. Traditional law enforcement and security screening processes have a proven record of doing their job.
The Statue of Liberty also reads:
"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
