My father-in-law worked for the same manufacturing company for thirty years. A couple years before he should have been able to retire, they closed the plant and everyone lost their jobs. So, at age 60, he went back out looking for work. After a couple of years of odd jobs and looking, because really, how attractive is a 60+ year old high school educated white man as a potential employee, he got a job as a school bus driver. A year or so into that, he starts not feeling well. Turns out he has esophogial cancer. Within 8 months he was dead. Luckily for him and my mother-in-law, they were able to get care under the Affordable Care Act. He wasn't turned down and the bills were manageable. So, instead of my MIL being thousands in debt, she was able to pay off the hospital bills and have a very modest funeral. She now lives off of Social Security.
I'm betting these two are SCUM in the eyes of some of you people. If so, God forbid you ever run into trouble in your perfect, narcissistic, hate filled lives.
