It seems like eBay is going to hit peak quantities of premium stock in the coming weeks with all these orders shipping out. Card and bot groups on Twitter are bragging about the massive quantities they’ve landed/confirmed to have shipped. I imagine we will hit 2x msrp on eBay due to this alone? I’ll be aggressively buying at that price point.

every year for black friday barnes and noble has signed books but this year because everyone but ebay people stayed home because of corona so the books all ended up on ebay. the bots are buying all of this card stuff online and in stores its kids putting them on ebay.

Anyone with industry knowledge have any idea what the spread of inventory for Target / Walmart are between online and retail? My guess is retail has to get 75%+, but that's just an uneducated guess.

I don't necessarily understand what you're saying in your response. I may have done a poor job explaining in my initial post, but my point was that bot groups have to move these cards. Once orders (especially the massive quantity orders) start arriving, they'll end up on eBay, StockX, etc. I was speculating about what dent this could put in current prices, if any.

2x would be a great price point, I’d like to grab maybe a couple WM megas if they drop below 2.5x, but right now they are above 3x, and I can’t justify those premiums.

across the board-collectibles from books to cards- the stuff is all bought by resellers not fans or collectors. I have 2 graduate degrees from elite colleges, I don't know how to build a bot to get sports cards.

I think the same as well. Past week or so I've been able to land 2x for cellos and hangers....2.5 for blasters and nothing on megas yet as far as a deal goes.

The prices are slowly going down.... I'm hoping those blue box megas get closer to $100 instead of $200

Agreed. I've also been getting cellos at $22, hangers at $40, blasters at $50 but Megas have been hard to find at 2.5x ($125 - $138 range). I think in general Megas haven't been stocked as abundantly yet

Only big change I've noticed is that the ATC button is finally gone from blasters. (The sold out message isn't back though, so you can't set the notification again yet.) Just seems like we'll have to be on alert tomorrow morning since that's when this always seems to happen. I just hope it isn't 3 AM.

How did you get them so fast? Sucks living sometimes in the west coast target stuff always takes more than a week to arrive.

My last of order was shipped, so I have 9 megas on the way.
