A) The other team needs a TD, and they have 60 seconds to do it, or
B) The other team needs just a FG, but they only have 19 seconds to do it

Gruden chose (B). Then they lost because they were completely incompetent on defense the final 19 seconds. If Gruden chose (A) and then they had executed the same level of incompetence on defense for 60 seconds, they still would have lost.

Steelers need to stop being whiny excuse making little cry babies over having had to play "3 games in 12 days". Many teams have a stretch of 3 games in 12 days over the course of a season. It is not even remotely a rare occurrence.
