It’s called gambling. Your gonna lose ALOT more then you win.

Ripping wax is and always will be a losing battle.
Fixed this for you

Yea, that one is from a rip card. No question those are out there. No sightings of any #1-350 base out of packs, though.

That had to be a mistake by them. Nice pickup

Opened my yearly box, fun break, nothing crazy, hit a Brooklyn Back of Carlos Martinez (25/25!) Actually never pulled one of those so was happy with it. Also hit 2 Andrew Benintendi relic's, one framed one regular. Other hit was a Rizzo regular relic. Got a couple of those minis that are supposed to be 1 in 50 packs. Maybe one day I'll do a case but I've done well through the years with 1 box per year.

A little late to the game but my two cases arrived today. Let's get to ripping.

That is a RIP card exclusive wood, those are 351-400 only
We are all referring to the base wood minis 1-350 that are in the actual packs, none have surfaced
I usually hit 3-5 each year alone

I think only insomuch as they have a billion items and probably don't research prices very efficiently.

So how rare are the "glossy hot boxes"? Any real extra value there?

And does getting a hot box come at the expense of getting anything else interesting, other than the guaranteed hits?

I'm pretty sure those silver glossy hot boxes are one per case. They don't take the place of any other hit. Probably some value in the Ohtani and other big players.

So the cards I am most excited about, the sunken treasure coin cards, looks like there are only 17 total in the entire run. 15 of the Admiral Gardner coins and only 2 of the El Cazador coins. So, I guess both will be out of my price range. Wish there were more of them. Still a cool concept, I hope they keep it up.

Might see the #/2 card up over $1000 before it's over.

Sucks for Brent that topps forgot to add the wood cards in, thats what.....5-800 dollars of missing value? I'm sure by now you have a direct line to someone at topps who can at least act like they care that they screwed up AGAIN.

Not to mention the lack of 350 wood cards, but who knows if the sketch 1/1's made it in either.

With all the other surprises Topps did with Ginter I woudknt be surprised if they did this again. Or even a wrapper redemption.

Case #1 of 2 done.

3 Rip Cards(still intact), Ozuna Cloth Relic, Stugotz /25 Auto, Kershaw Glow in the Dark and Ohtani A&G Back!

And the quote of the night, "Why do I keep hitting these old guys?" My gf hit both Mattingly and Canseco. I said, that is what you want to do.

super duper congrats

thru 25 cases here, all have had 2 rips exactly and I have hit none of the top 3 autos you did (DM, JC, & Stugotz)...those have to be somewhat SP and are really strong...awesome to see

Thank you!

Hit another potential SP'ish auto in the second case with the Bouchard and possibly also the JD.
