Did you listen to both speeches? One was a speech about bringing the nation together to go stronger and the other was how we are in a horrible place and we need to drive more wedges. One shows how much they love the country and how she can grow it and expand on the past 8 years while the other says how the country is awful but he can make it great but won't say how.

It's a freaking speech! Trump talks daily about making America stronger and getting rid of status quo.

Yes I did. Hillary's was painful and desperate. Trumps was predictable.

I'd rather not be told anything then spoon fed lies.

She is doing nothing but playing off of Trump, and is going to become whatever he isn't.

Hillary was never going to do well in the poll at the start of this thread given the demographics of this forum, but it is far more telling that Trump can barely get over 40% of the vote even here. That seems to be his top mark in any poll, anywhere.

As for large percentage of the "neither" voters on the Forum here and in the nation-wide electorate, if Trump was going to get their votes, he'd have them already. People know exactly what they'll get with him. He has topped out. It's downhill from here for The Donald.

My feeling is that at the end of the day, if you have anything whatsoever to lose, the undecided/neither vote will break for Hillary in a big way. If you have nothing to lose, maybe it'll be Trump, and if there are enough people who feel that way, well, maybe it is time for a change from the "change".

I can be somewhat ambivalent about national elections as my state is a reliable bulwark against the typical antediluvian Right wing ideology, even if Republicans do manage to gain the White House and keep Congress. We won't be going back in time on the Best Coast, no matter what.

Even the people on Fox News said it was a speech that reached out to everyone and it was in stark contrast. Your belief is that it is all fake is fine, it's your opinion.

I'm just quoting the demographics. It is a fact that he is dominating the uneducated male group. In fact he might be the first republican in 60 years to lose the white college educated vote. He knows his base well.

I mean if Hillary wan't always lying about everything, you'd figure out our country is going down hill. I'm not saying were in the shittiest position but we are defiantly not where we should be. Trump sometimes exagerates about how bad of a situation our country is in but its better that he worries us so we do something about it then pretend like our country has no issues like hillary does
