What Is the Greatest Card Set Ever?

There are some awesome sets, and there are some really terrible sets, but is there a set out there that has been determined to be the best ever?

For football, probably 1957 Topps, some arguments for 1952 Bowman Large or 1955 Topps All American can be made.

For football, probably 1957 Topps for "ALL TIME BEST" but I also think 1990 Action Packed for modern cards (non auto) and 1997 Upper deck Legends for autographs.

I agree with 1997 UD Legends.. on card autos of the most hofers including sweetness and no RC filler crap.

Gotta be near or at the top.

Almost impossible to put any 'modern' sets in the conversation due to the heavy rookie content.

Tough call but I'd probably say 1990 Pro Set because it was so limited in print run. Tough to locate that stuff.

Print run 656,898,909,345,567 numbered cases. Pretty scarce.
