Well Madden 10 left a bad taste in my mouth, but early reviews are raving about Madden 11. Might wait a couple weeks to pick it up though.

Ive been getting Madden every year for the last 7 years and I finally realized it wasn't worth getting anymore. I like franchise and it rarely changes from year to year and I heard this year especially its almost identical.

Same with me, I have most of the years, only difference is the rookies really, best to get every other year. MLB the Show seems to change a bit more often between years, plus the rosters change so much, so that one I think is worth it to get every year

I liked the 2010 fantasy one, if that's the one where it's 3 minute quarters where you eventually play the fake teams that go invisible or cheat, I turn them into more of strategy with accelerated clock, stall in the first half and score right at the end, and let them score and stall again and score at the end in the second half

played the demo and this game is getting slower each year. It's like playing football in slow motion, no thanks.

I'm pretty disappointed with the game feel--this is the first one I bought since about 2004.

I got NCAA 11 after getting a PS3 this year and really enjoyed it, especially the responsiveness (it reminded me of the 2k series from back in the day). So I thought I'd pick up Madden.

It's like you're playing drunk compared to NCAA 11. Everything is delayed and slow.

I'm going to give it a chance, but my initial verdict is avoid it.

Picked mine up at Target.

Buy Madden + 2 bags of doritos (who doesn't love doritos) & get a $10 Target gift card.

I'll buy every year. I'm a sucker. However, w/ 2 young kids, I only get to buy about 2 games per year. Next month is NHL 2011.

The makers of the game should find a way of giving return customers a discount on these "franchise" games that come out once per year (Other than trading in past years not knowing how little you'll get back).

I don't know why all the haters bitch and moan so much.

The game improves year in and year out and you can tweak pretty much everything.

If the game is too slow for you, make it faster.

If run defense is weak, make it better.

Bought it yesterday and played some of the ''Madden Moments'' just to get the rust off and the game plays very smoothly and I didn't tweaked anything yet except put the game on 'very slow' to improve pass rushing and run blocking.

Other than that, it's a great game and playing with the rookie class is always fun.

Gonna start a franchise tonight with the Saints and see where that goes.

Haters will hate anyway, might as well ignore them.

Why ignore reasonable complaints? It has nothing to do with "hating"

I usually buy the game every year and still might. Just feels like it's being played in slow motion.

Plus, with games like this common sense has to say they don't release a game every year just because the rosters change. Improvements should be expected every year I don't think that's too much to ask for. Last year's game was a disappointment but I'm not throwing the franchise out the window.

Reasonable complaints are okay, of course.

But haters are just annoying.

I love the game, year in and year out but yes, I am a little annoyed about the lack of change in the Franchise mode, my favorite one.

But haters will jump on what ever they can just to throw the game under the bus or say that it was better 10 years ago one the PS1.

Seriously.
