official Poverty mail-day thread

I've noticed a lot of high end / high power collectors on all the popular collector sites, but very few low/mid-end collectors. So I'm making this thread to post my poverty mail days, I don't know how successful this will be, but feel free to join in with your own!

I have a mini-Clifford Robinson PC going, so I added this Fleer Traditions 'Crystal' variant. Nothing special about this card, except it has the added 'Crystal' logo and silver foil lettering. I like the 'Tiffany' variants better.

Also added Finite 'Spectrum' variant Shawn Kemp to my collection. This card is gorgeous and if you have seen these in person yourself then I don't need to tell you that. Thanks to Penny1fan for helping me to figure out what the 'Finite' line was all about. The base Finite and the Finite Radiance will be easy pickups to complete this 'Rainbow.'

As for every one wondering about the cutoff, I don't know. Let's say 30-35 or less on a mail day or a pickup? Obviously a single 50 dollar card isn't a poverty acquisition. Let me know what you guys think.

Glad to hear others in the same situation/having interest, post your poverty stuff whenever you can. 50 cents, 99 cents, a dollar, and up. No mail day / pickup is too small! I'll add some more stuff later today.

Realized I qualify for this at $35, picked it up a week or 2 ago... I really want the Kobe Prodigy refractor too.

I made this same thread a year ago LOLLLLLL I feel your pain. Got to the point I just started collecting 1 dude so I could afford 1/2 way decent cards. Nice pick ups!

I post my inexpensive HOF autos that I pick up in the HOF auto discussion. I can post some of my other finds here. Since I am a working man with other financial obligations I don't have the deep pockets that other collectors have but I do enjoy building my collection from trades and the bargin bin. I also do recaps on my youtube page.

I usaully only check my PO box once or twice per week so my mail day will be a combination of what I got during the week.

In terms of collection, I would say that I am somewhere between "poverty" and "middle class". While mainly on certified autographs, recently I have plans to build some low-end non-autograph sets.

Not sure if there is a standard Players Club of the checklists.
