Interesting change in the box makeup: 1.) Now includes a base card 2.) 5 autos/box, 3 boxes/case (previously 2 autos/box, 8 boxes/case).

Last year I think they were in the neighborhood of $300/box on release, quickly shot up to $400+ on the secondary. O/U on $400/box from the drop?

Try $1k per box. No scenario where 5 autos would be a $400 box.

Sounds like it’s now similar to what Five Star was when it debuted in football.

I looked back and last year I got a case (16 autos) for $2k (125/auto). That will probably be the true judge of the price increase this year; although the “encased” language is never good, it means Topps will be trying to make it even more “premium”. I enjoyed that this set previously did not have any base/parallels, it was nice not to have any fluff.

Definitive feels more like NT, this product has always bothered me but I have collected some auto sets from it in the past. I still can't move past them using this oxidized looking dark blue for their advertisements. Not a great representation of what they'll look like out of the pack.

EQL is live. $1000 a box.

I've watched a lot of breaks this morning while on work calls and I will say I like the new format, but this is 100% a breakers product. Even the way they designed the boxes with individualized slots.
