A few Red Sox: Devers, Mookie, Pedro, Nomar, Boggs,Clemens,Ortiz, Pedroia, Williams
I collect mostly non auto modern cards and bat relics. Devers because I need a current player so I can get cards from new releases. Williams just becaue he's the Red Sox goat. Other players are my favorites from time I've been watching the Red Sox. |

Mike Trout. My wife thinks he hawt and I parlayed that as reason to fund my hobby.
Aside from him, I am partial to the ‘19 RC class, as that’s when I got back into collecting. Which two players out of that class did I PC the most you ask? Why, the two that have been popped for PEDs..Tatis Jr & Laureano. |

1991 I buy bulk Upper Deck on 4 players.
Dave Staton - 100 cards - 46 games and out of MLBChipper Jones was the other 50 card lot. Combine that with eventually getting on to TBS to be able to watch daily, and he is my PC.

It is too bad they gave up on him after his lone season at 3B, at age 23.

Jose Cruz Jr and Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
Jose Cruz Jr because he was "the next Ken Griffey Jr" and Mariners GM Woody Woodward thought it would be a great idea to trade him to my Toronto Blue Jays for two average relief pitchers. He had some great years in Toronto, but his 1997 rookie season was magical. Vlad simply because of his dad and the viral videos of Jr as 15 year old massacring the ball in BP. I bought hard in 2015 and sold that to buy his 2016 BC 1st autos. I've been buying and selling since and think I have amassed a collection of his cards that is among the top 10 best.

My main PC is Yankee autos. Trying to collect one for as many players possible.
I was thinking it might be a fun project to see if I can get an auto of a Yankee in a different team's jersey and collect all 29 teams. Like Johnny Damon as a Red Sox for example. |

I PC Texas Rangers and Tyrell Jenkins.
I collect Texas Rangers because I've been watching/listening to them since 1982 when I used to listen to them in my dad's truck while he was out mowing yards. They're our hometown team and were about 2-1/2 hours away. Been a since since the early 1980s, and i have nearly 32k Rangers cards. I collect Tyrell Jenkins because I've known him personally since I saw him play his first game in little league. I was the sports editor at the hometown paper, and so I covered games all the time. We were close friends with his mom (a single mom), and I worked for her for awhile at her furniture business. He has 94 non 1/1 cards, and I have 82 of them. I also have 21 of his 1/1s. Hey OP, I picked this up at the LCS today if it's something you're interested in.

I like collecting because it reminds me of my childhood where I already had cards in my hands from the age of 5/6. In France, there are a lot of Panini stickers but not only that. I grew up in the 90s and I had Upper Deck basketball cards as well as Carddass Dragon Ball Z. Following a trip to Toronto with my grandmother and a quick stop at the Skydome store in 2001, I bought my first baseball cards (UD Victory Set Blue Jays). Then I only wanted one thing: to find baseball cards in France (no easy task) and I bought 2 Tuff Stuff magazines in a store in Canada. My passion was born and I never stopped. My sister at a flea market found in a manga store called "Planete Loisirs" a pack of Topps Finest 1999 in which I found my first Derek Jeter card "Sterling". I started my collection and since 2002 I have more than 2000 cards of the Yankees captain and I even have a hobby room (to see on my Instagram account)...and I even met him...you have to live your dreams and your passion to the fullest, each with their means and their desires...long live the hobby

Phillies players. I’m trying to build a collection of numbered Bowman Chrome 1st autos. Unfortunately, my favorite player, Harper, sells well outside my budget.
I was hoping to leverage my Paul Skenes 2024 Bowman Chrome green refractor auto /99 for a shot at a Harper or Turner card, but unfortunately the spike on Skenes seems to have cooled down. |

Texas Rangers - Been a fan since we moved to TX as a 10 year old in 1991.
Evan Carter - Really liked his story of being an overlooked prospect to being the #1 in the system to winning the World Series last year. Bobby Witt - Royals were my first team growing up in NE OK. Cody Wilson - Puled an auto of his out 2022 Prizm and his career stat line intrigued me. Had 1 pinch hit ab in 2021 & never played the field. Kind of an inverse Moonlight Graham. Became a fun way to try collect all the Panini parallels. Only has minor league cards and cards in 2022 Panini Prizm. Have 30 of the 43 parallels so far. Have other PCs of players from when I was kid but not actively adding to them. (Bo Jackson & Jose Canseco) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The vast majority of my small collection (less than 150 total cards) are pitchers. To me, the most fascinating, diverse, and fun to watch position in baseball.
As a Dodger fan, their pitching lineage is second to none, so Koufax and Kershaw are my cornerstones (relatively speaking). I also collect more Josiah Gray (former #1 Dodger prospect) and Bobby Miller (formerly hyped heir apparent to Kershaw) cards than I intended. Josiah is a true PC guy given his uncertain future while the jury is out on Miller. Beyond that, I'm trying to pick up one flagship Topps card for all 40 HOF pitchers since Topps has been around. |

I am getting the collection down to just two.
Joe Mauer - The reason is a long story and would probably only be of interest to me. Let’s just leave it at he is my favorite player and will be for life. His cards I will collect anything and everything. I still get happy just adding a base card from an irrelevant set that I didn’t have already. Shohei Ohtani - Very small collection of cheap rookies, and a couple cards I thought were cool looking. This is because not only is he a generational player, I think he is a once a multiple generations player. It will be a long time until we see another player like him, at least not again in my life and I want to have a small piece of it.
