I’m a Patriots fan looking for a Super Bowl.

Just kidding. I’m hoping Maye sits to start the year while the OL develops some cohesion and he learns behind Brissett. The team winds up with another Top 5 pick next year to help improve the overall roster.

I don't care about Aiyuk in the short term, he'll get dealt with when he gets dealt with.

I need Trent Williams out there though, now.

Very reasonable. I think Maye was a great pick. Hopefully they'll develop him the right way and, as you said, get the line in front of him working together.

Week 1 without Trent and Aiyuk gets a little worrisome vs the Jets defense.

Total wildcard what Rodgers looks like on the other side of the ball, but offense looks iffy down a weapon and CMC coming off a tweak if Trent isn't there.

You nailed it. That's my fear.

Are Williams and Aiyuk threatening season hold outs?

Aiyuk traveled with the team to LV for the final preseason game. Unclear but that's positive. Williams nowhere to be found, at all. Not great. No imminent restructure announced either.

No Trent = an L to the Jest IMO.

I have no clue what I’m looking to get out of my team this year. They are too thin at CB and WR for me to feel any level of comfort.

So I’ll ride with TJ having another DPoY year and some goof at PFF deciding his pass rush almost but didn’t sack rate wasn’t high enough.

Looking forward to watching more of Nick Herbig this year, as well as the development of JPJ and Payton Wilson.

TJ's gonna do what TJ's gonna do, and offenses aren't going to enjoy it very much. By year's end, some of them may consider pressing charges. There will be dented facemasks, strip sacks, and probably at least one guy who can't walk off the field.

Over/under on your guys is 8.5??? I'll take the over.

Looking for the Giants to be competitive and fight for a wild card a la 2022 again. Most experts seem to think they’ll end up with a top 5 pick though. Their early schedule is somewhat favorable so maybe a few wins early and things will look different.

They definitely had a weird draft, passing on a QB at pick 6. It's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see if it pays off for 'em!

The former seems like their M.O.

As long as they lose, I'm happy.

Prediction 1: If the Cowboys do lose, you will immediately see Ferg posting in this thread.

Prediction 2: If Ferg sees this post, he'll try to deflect from being called out by saying it's weird that I mentioned him.

He will be correct. It's a little weird.

Fortunately, I like weird. Weird is good.

Weird is when 90+% of someone's posts are aggressively negative toward teams or players they don't even follow.

It's like when you see a vthobby post, you know it's going to be an anti-Aaron Rodgers comment. Doesn't even matter what the thread is about.

The Cowboys are either to blow out the Browns and start a hype train that will only end in disaster or they will get blown out and everyone will prematurely label their season a disaster before the team rallies and makes it to the NFCCG.

You mean the divisional game, right?

I'm looking forward to the new kickoff rules resulting in even more touchbacks.

Also going to run back with a Jags Eagles Super Bowl pick!

I canceled Comcast cable due to price and replaced with YT TV. Eagles GB is exclusive on Peacock? Lost that with cancelation. What a scam.
