Really liked the first release of this set and this new one looks really good too.

Product Highlights:

Looks cool, won't be buying without guaranteed auto like NHL version though. Opened four boxes last year zero autos lol and I'm a wrestling fan casuals definitely won't touch it without real hits. Even retail in my area from last year ended up in blister packs. AEW is not a popular enough company to put out "maybe you'll get an auto if your'e lucky" boxes lol even WWE's cheapest hobby NXT guaranteed one.

If you aren't guaranteed autos and may need to buy who knows how many boxes might as well just save that money and buy a Prizm with guaranteed autos (or redemptions lol)

I was completely baffled when UD announced the first set of this last year, but it actually ended up being a lot of fun. It's nice to have a proper chrome release, and the Golden Treasures & 16-bit are genuinely awesome chase cards.

That said, the AEW market is so depressed that I can't see myself ripping any new releases anytime soon. The value is simply not there.

That's the thing, they ARE cool cards but even the NHL version usually gets discounted after awhile (Not this year as Connor Bedard is huge) and that's WITH an auto, and I'd argue hockey obviously has a larger collector base. I don't get with the market why AEW treats autos like 1/1's, hard to hit in flagship, hard to hit in Skybox, hard to hit in Allure, and it's not like the scarcity has made the autos out there more coveted from what I've seen.

I'd love to open a few boxes of this even at increased price with an auto, at least value aside I may get someone I like so I'd be happy, Tay Melo Ice Cream cards /99 and CM Punk Color Flow /399 which isn't even low enough to say ok I'll chase the rainbow aren't even fun hits as a collector.

The cards should look good but the no guaranteed auto is horrible for people who buy hobby boxes (don't get me started on blasters). I don't know how AEW sets get away with that so often. Fans need to rebel because nobody deserves that type of abuse...

As it is I will just buy Claudio stuff online if I see it for a decent price. I don't even know if they have cards for Morrison but I'd be interested. I think they are the only two people AEW employs that I collect for.

It doesn't seem like Ziggler is going there at least. Idk about Cameron Grimes. Both are probably better off in TNA. I just wish TNA released cards again.

Without knowing their contract or the interest, I guess its always possible when Panini loses WWE that AEW could go to Panini. But there are so many different variables there. I doubt WWE would want/let Fanatics produce AEW cards so Panini would be the only real option since I am guessing people on blowout wouldn't want Leaf to be involved.

Looks like the release date of this was pushed up to November 27th (Wednesday before Thanksgiving). Originally when I pre-ordered my case it was December 18th.

Makes some sense if they really plan on sticking to the schedule of releasing three more products before 2025: Upper Deck AEW Flagship (Released), Allure AEW (Nov 27) and Black Diamond AEW (TBD)

So is it safe to say that a 2023 Allure isn't happening? Or are we just going to say that 2023 is 2024 even if the checklist is about a year behind

Did they ever announce 2023 Allure? I know the canceled 2023 & 2024 Metal Universe and that product allegedly won't be released again until 2025.

Yay AEW choosing to release their chrome set when my money is going to WWE Chrome this month lol guess I'll wait till it discounts since the new names do interest me even though hit rate sucks, also see the Autographics on-card line has Mariah in this so thats sick.

Saw a break, cards look impressive but I'm a fan of Allure so that's not surprising. Box had an auto and two cards /99 which is way more hits than I remember Allure having so either he lucked out and I would still get one card of a jobber /99 or they improved it slightly since the last two years have hit with a whimper. I just glanced the CL so was kind of surprised to see a Kamille card, not a big card but cool that she's in it, I'll give AEW that each year their sets do feel like they got a lot more variety and new names than Panini WWE.

Ripped a hobby yesterday and I like the look of these. Got a steel chair, 2 green quarts and a blue line parallel in it. For $140 after tax & ship probably won't be doing that again till prices crash down but I really enjoy this set.

I'm debating grabbing a hobby of this as I saw one at the LCS I checked out yesterday. I bought two blaster boxes with a Target gift card and grabbed an Ospreay Orange Slice and a Swerve Orange Slice so that's pretty cool.

The base set is less impressive than the flagship, to me. I like action shots so just a person on a chrome background is less than exciting. However, I really like the inserts in Allure.
