Looks like Mudryk might be on the move.
Leeds heavily linked with Wober from Salzburg.

Cristiano Ronaldo has a clause in his Al Nassr contract allowing the Portugal forward, 37, to join Newcastle United on loan if they qualify for the Champions League this season.

lol

Not true.....anybody who knows Newcastle & Eddie Howe know that he wouldn't let a divisive locker room presence like CR7 within ten kilometers of the Newcastle dressing room.

They have excellent chemistry right now...why would they let a self-centered narcissist like CR7 blow it up????

I don't think the rumored Newcastle clause trigger would be something required by Newcastle, it's just a Ronaldo option. Terms would still have to be worked out and Newcastle would still have to agree to take him on which, as you said, seems incredibly unlikely for various reasons. Plus sorting out responsibility for his high wages would be another issue.

He just can't let it go can he. Fella is 37 years old, there's no shame in him kicking back in a rubbish league collecting a paycheck, and nobody will hold it against him.

Messi is still only (only!) 35. The race is run.

I'm sure Ronaldo didn't argue with the clause, but this was surely just part of the deal from the Saudi side. He's basically signed a lucrative contract to be the official "Saudi Soccer Man" and playing in the Saudi league, promoting the Saudi World Cup bid, or going on loan to promote another Saudi-owned club are all really the same job duty.

Enzo Fernandez to Chelsea seems to be inching closer. James 2.0?

That transfer just seems all kinds of mad and crazy. Didn't Benfica sign him for something silly like £6m just six months ago?

Chelsea spent £294M this summer already, so a bit par for the course? I know Fofana cost £80m and hasn't played yet, but the rest is largely a waste of cash. (with the 30M spent on Gabe Slonina and Carney Chukwuemeka still pending)

Par for the course for Chelsea is throwing money at the latest shiny object without any clue about how said player is going to be used by the manager or fit into the squad.

And then firing the manager because he can't figure out how to get the best out of a bunch of players he didn't want, many of whom were bought before he even got the job.

Bayern look like their close to signing Jan Sommer to replace Neuer for the stretch run. If nothing else, it’ll just prevent him from going God Mode when we play BM again

Paying £112m for someone that transferred for £6m less than 200 days ago isn't par for any course, even Chelseas

Such a horrible club. I remember seeing them numerous times at the Bridge when they averaged less than 20,000 a game, and it wasn't that long ago either lol

Just seem to be waiting on a medical now.

Depending on who you believe it looks like it might end up being closer to £30m+ that's a lot of money.. (for Leeds)

That's what young talent like that is going for in this market because if Antony is a 100 million man this is a bargain for Leeds. Plus at that price and given his age you might be able to sell high on a player like that if things go well. Its good business for Leeds in the January window.

Boehly had a big hand in the Chelsea summer signings and maybe got a bit carried away for someone with little experience in the sport. He's just stepped back from the sporting director role so I guess their signings this window (Datro Fofana and Benoit Badiashile) will be more from Potter and the permanent sporting directors. Supposedly they are willing to pay the loan fee Atletico wants for Joao Felix along with an optional buy price. It's a bit out of the frying pan into the fire for Felix, but maybe given some time Potter can right the ship.

Newcastle are leading Chelsea and Barcelona in the race for Moukoko who is eligible to move on a free at the end of the season.
