So excited - Lots of things to be optimistic for in 2023!

- Mike Trout healthy and hitting bombs
- Shohei pitchin' & rakin'
- Taylor Ward & Rengifo solidify the top of the order
- Young guns (Livan Soto, O'Hoppe, Silseth, Zach Neto/Ben Joyce?) on the horizon

Areas for improvement:
- Healthy seasons for Walsh, Fletcher, Rendon, Duffy & Lorenzen
- More consistency from starters (Suarez, Sandoval, Dietmers)
- Ditto for bullpen (Loup, Tepera, Quijada, Barria, Wantz)
- More contribution from bench (Thaiss, Stefanic, Moniak, Adell, Velasquez?)

I hope he and Canning come back healthy for spring training.

Maybe Canning/Junk/Silseth/Lorenzen(?)/Davidson(??) will rotate for the 5th/6th starter spots...

We need a new pitching coach first.

Davidson is a very interesting arm. Struggled once he came over but getting your life upended will do that to you. Will be interested to see how he looks in the Spring.

Silseth needs a little more time in the minors but had some nice flashes. Pitching against Oakland helps...

Lorenzen doesn't do it for me. He was serviceable but not sure that's a playoff race arm.

Griff should replace him but his health is questionable (and I say this as someone with a lot of Griff cards).

I’m inclined now to think the Angels need to blow it up, unfortunately. The Astros will remain good, the Mariners look fantastic and young, the A’s could always surprise. Not a lot of wiggle in that division and baseball needs Trout and Ohtani in the playoffs. Seeing Trout watch the Eagles play this past Sunday, and not playing in the playoffs, is a Shakespearean tragedy.
