If you pull for Minnesota and you are wishing that then you have no clue about football. I hope some of you Viking fans get your wish and get Mond to start. He will make the team a laughing stock of the NFL. He stunk in college and he stinks in the NFL.

Mond might be a longshot to make the team now...

I like this to be a 9-10 win team. Kirk goes down and we are starting Nick Mullens.... then we are a 2-3 win team. Team still has too much talent to be the Texans/Jets etc.

I've always felt like this too, never really made sense to me. Wish we would have taken someone who actually had a chance at playing for us. It's not necessarily a bad idea to try to find your next QB before you need one, but the odds of finding that guy outside the top 10, let alone the first round, seem so low that it's not worth it

After watching Saturday's game, neither of those QBs are a viable backup. One can only hope Mullens is up for the job. Either way, if Cousins goes down, this team's season is screwed.

Cap situation next year is gonna be a big problem. Could be Kirk's final season in purple - the big contracts will have to be re-structured again, or cut :
