Anybody have early access to the link? I am guessing it will sell out pretty quickly.

I'm hoping they do a lottery on the Topps site like they did for Sapphire baseball this year so us regular buyers have a chance over the bots, but I'm not optimistic.

Expected price? How much does chrome baseball and chrome sapphire difference in price? From supplier, not at re-sale.

Sapphire baseball was $300 if you were able to get it direct from Topps.

This will be a COMPLETELY different story to baseball, and I have no idea how it will be priced. Understand that baseball is a 700 card set, so your chances of pulling anything even halfway decent from a 32 card box are SLIM. Soccer on the other hand is only a 100 card set, so 4 boxes should get you a complete set plus guaranteed parallels and autos.

This is not going to regular buyers imo. The baseball forum 582 thread is going crazy right now with excitement with everyone saying to buy it.

Topps probably is able to generate more money with Sapphires than with the hobby and retail produced. So it will keep coming.

With no autos, they should crank the presses on this. 10k boxes would be a PR of about 3000 per base.

Was that link for people not in the special club, or can only the special people buy it? Will the general public, the proles, be able to purchase it?

Usually 582 Montgomery members on the first day (it hasn't gone on sale yet) and general sale the next day (assuming there are boxes left). Sometimes they do the general sale via a random draw.

How much did it cost to club members?

How many cards in a box?

FIRST available to club members always indicates a public release also.
