LeBron Silver Prizms are the closest thing we have to MJ Refractors.

But LeBron is definitely not the closest thing we have to MJ.

It’s not for real. The $651 and $610 bids are almost certainly not. The $641 bid is probably from the guy who was the BGS 9.5 copy listed. And I’m pretty sure the $501 bid is from the guy who has the other PSA 10 copy up for sale right now, especially considering he just jacked the price up on it.

This is spot on. The odds of this being a coincidence are slim to none.

Here is the probable 70 feedback bidder's copy:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/2013-14-PRI...VmL0:rk:2:pf:1

And here is the probable 4833 feedback bidder's copy:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/2013-14-PRI...frcectupt=true

And now we have a 0 feedback bidder at the top? Hmmm...

Mr. 70 feedback put a bid of $701 in, then raised the BIN/BO on his copy to $1500.

And the 4840 feedback guy just bid $791. Still have that zero feedback guy leading at $801. These people are clowns.

I can confirm that the $857 14-15 Silver that I posted earlier was purchased by the 4840 feedback guy (it’s been paid for). So I suppose he could be pumping the price, but I genuinely think he believes in these continuing to grow at a rapid increase.

I believe it could be real. I listed my 2015-16 LeBron Prizm silver PSA 10 thinking I might get 50 or 75 if lucky. I ended up selling it for 250! And got paid promptly.

2012 and 2013 Prizm silvers are still undervalued across the board IMO. You’re talking about a likely sub-200 print run on 2012, and sub-300 print run on 2013. Plus, you have AD/Leonard/Irving and Giannis to draw attraction to the sets. The design for both years is also very nice.

But this auction is tampered with.

Does not feel real. His prizms have certainly gone up a crossed the board but that doesn’t look real.

If it is real that’s crazy. I hit the 7/10 Gold 13-14 LBJ Prizm early on and was able to be the first one to get it on eBay. I sold it for $775. I tracked sales of that card for several years and it had fallen as low as $275-350. As early as the start of last season $775 was the highest sale I had seen. Now the silver is a $600-700 card?

Well, I let this one go last night, so I’d say it’s definitely real. The psa 10 version of the 14-15 recently sold for 331 for comparison.

I bought a 2015-16 Prizm silver LeBron for $12 at a hobby shop in January. I've seen some go as high $66 raw recently.

Any particular reason why these are going up now? It's not like him or the Lakers are on fire.

Has nothing to do with Lebron, and everything to do with early Prizm.

I don’t really follow Prizm, but that’s a pretty crazy price for a 6 year old card with 200+ copies. I don’t even see the aesthetic appeal.

It was easy to see this all coming...

His TC refractors were all hitting $200 plus, while his Prizm Silvers could be bought for $10-$30 each (other than 2012) if you could find them, just like his TC refractors could be back before he won his title in Cleveland.

And up until 2015 or 2016, the print run on the Silvers was much lower than any year of his TC refractors, other than 2009, which is a $500 card. Even still, 2012-2014 has a lower print run than the 2009 TC ref.

2009 TC refractor is /500.

2012 Prizm silver is estimated at 180 copies.
2013 Prizm silver is estimated at 350 copies.

I can't find a 2009 TC refractor PSA 10 Lebron that sold ever through PWCC's database (pop 11). The last copy to sell was raw in October, and that went for $535. The last 2012 Prizm silver Lebron to sell was raw and got $500 a week ago. The PSA pop report has just four 9s and four 10s. A 10 hasn't sold in almost two years, but someone just listed a PSA 10 today for $4k BIN/BO.

These early Prizms have been undervalued for a long time. I just wish I realized it sooner.
