Default NT Personalized auto's 1/1 fails so far :(

I was really looking forward to this set this year as always to see what the players come up with but seems like Kobe is the only one who knows what to do with them that i have seen so far . I understand it's still a cool 1/1 auto at the end of the day but you know what i mean. Maybe Panini need to make it more clear on the box next time.

Totally agree. Bummer these guys didn't understand the homework assignment because it is a really cool idea for an insert auto. These players were probably on auto auto.

I read somewhere here on blowout that AD always signs his 1/1 autographs with his full name autograph, so it's likely that he also didn't notice that it was supposed to be an inscription-like thing, like the rest of the guys like Ball and DSJ.

Seems like Giannis' auto changed again a bit.

Yeah really like how AD signs his 1/1's with his full auto, so at least he noticed the 1/1 stamp on it haha

With the amount Panini hand these guys i'm guessing it's hard to separate the different types of cards they sign. They just get in the zone and try and finish them as soon as they can....or they just cant be bothered coming up with anything cool to write

Giannis spends as much time on his auto as he does on his jump shot

Problem is, even if they do write on the instructions paper or something, players might not read through all that b/c they might assume it's all generic. It's a bummer that these cards turned out with no inscriptions.

Well it would look funny if they had 10 of the same card all #'d 1/1 even if they did inscribe it ...haha. Would take us all back to when Panini brought out the amazing 'Replay' where there was multiple 1/1's of the exact same card inserted

Yep. #EpicFail. Whole point of Personalized out the window. Doesn’t Panini need to pay extra in the first place for inscriptions? Ouch.

So with those players who basically just signed without any inscription of some short, should we treat the vale the same as any auto?

So there's 10 different variations for each player, each supposed to be personalised a different way?

That's right, pretty much inscribe whatever you want on it. Don't even have to sign your auto either. NT a few years ago had a nickname set where for example John Wall just wrote 'Optimus Dime'.

It would be so cool to sit down and have a think of something cool / funny / memorable to put on these. Last year's were the best, had so much room for them to write on....seems they restricted it quite a lot with the design
