Default This is why LeBron James will never be the GOAT

Some things cannot be forgotten. At least they won two titles, or this would officially have ranked as one of the most despicable acts in NBA history.

One of the sweetest things I've ever witnessed in the NBA was when the Spurs wiped the floor with these guys 4-1.

Ha ha, Ray Allen is a beast. One of the greats, saved LeBron's ass for sure. He could be 1 for 7 without that. Wow.

I won $1k on Miami that year, and the Spurs don't spank their ass the next year without that loss IMO.

Win win for me

Miami will have to wait a while to get a look at the finals again I'd say.

I think you're right about it taking a while for Miami to get back there

I had them as a roughie to win the East a few weeks back, I thought they could cause the Cavs trouble. A shame they didn't get there and got so banged up.

Ha ha, GS aren't unbeatable. Okc showed us that.

Spurs will retool and be back again, I would bet that KD would rather join SA then your trash MIA team.

Your boys couldn't even sniff the East finals. Trash.

I remember and LOVED when Lebron DESTROYED your spurs in game 7 of the finals for the RING

He put on a legendary performance in that game and I loved every minute of it! Especially that late dagger he sank with under 30 seconds to go

And how did you feel the next year when LeBron got worked over and lost ANOTHER finals series? Actually he got pumped 4-1, it showed how lucky he got the year before.

He's got a loooooong way to go to catch Kobe and TD on 5 rings, let alone Jordan and his 6.

Hell he still needs 1 more to tie D. Wade.

But man that LeBron can put up some empty stats against weak opposition in the East.

Actually, one of the most lopsided Finals in history and the "King/GOAT" was on the losing side of it lol

And yes, I've also wondered how much the result of 2013 played a part in 2014. I definitely don't think it would have been the same type of beatdown that they put on in 2014. I have to admit, the missed FT's by Kawhi and Ray Allen saving lebron is still haunting. How great would it be if he were about to be 1-6 in the Finals

Come on dude, you need to be realistic. Luck is when you win one game, not 4 games out of 7. That team won 27 in a row that year if you remember. They were a good team that deserved the title that season.

They definitely were good, but I'm sure that you remember that the Heat were in intentional foul mode and all Kawhi had to do was make a free throw, THEN lebron missed the 3 only to be saved by Chris Bosh (Off Reb) and Ray Allen (3pt). There was definitely some luck on lebrons side. Spurs should have won in 6.

Have to agree with this. It seemed like the games were over after the 1st quarter. It was just an absolute smashing that proved the year before was a fluke and lebron didn't do anything about it except complain about cramps I will forever be indebted to the Spurs for being responsible for 2 of lebron's Finals losses

I still watch the highlights for each game from time to time. Fundamental team basketball, beautiful to watch. I remember going crazy when Patty lit it up in game 5.

I think Lebron goes to Golden State to win a few more titles.
