I'm 99.99% sure this has been erased and forged. Just a community heads up.

It does look a bit off, plus the auto is a higher on the card than almost all of the others I have seen.

maybe the guys auto was faded or smudged and the scammer (seller) wanted top dollar instead of a discount so he erases forges and trys selling to unknowing person

I've never heard of anyone doing this but perhaps there is someone at least honest enough to get an IP/TTM auto to replace the one wiped off instead of forging. Although I suppose most IP autos probably aren't going to be any better than the ones on the card originally...

If the auto is smudged or sort of fading then it will only get an 8 or 9 when graded with BGS. Scammers will erase it and sign it in bold so that it can still get a 10. There is quite a difference in price from a 9 auto and a 10 auto.

It was happening a lot with the 2012 Bowman Chrome Tavares autographs.
