Yes. Buy/Sell/Trade sneakers. These conventions happen all over the U.S all the time. Sometimes you get a few hundred people and sometimes there's thousands that go. Vendors pay a small fee to have a table and put all their shoes on it for sale.

I just had one by me yesterday but couldn't go :/

I haven't been to a Sneakercon or DunkxChange yet but definitely want to try to get to the Miami or Orlando one sometime

Here's some coverage from one event in Washington DC for those that don't know what it is

I will never for get my first pair of Jordans. I was playing basketball in Jr. High school and they finally arrived in the mail (My dad had ordered them out of East Sport magazine for me.) I run to my dad, who was hanging out with his friend and I am so excited and was showing them off. My dad's friend says "lemme see those" so I hand him one of the shoes and he FOLDS it in HALF! There was a big ol' crease where the "toes" meet the "tongue" forever. So pissed.

Unbelievable, some of the dumbest looking shoes I have ever seen in my life. I will stick with my vans or chucks, I'm not black so therefore I am not allowed to wear Jordan's or Lebrons

Maybe dumb but you wouldnt believe the amount of cash these teens are making. I saw a special on the news where some 15 year old make a few thousand in profits in a single day

Craziness but I guess the same thing can be said for pieces of cardboard that have no use at all hahaha but people like myself drop hundreds of dollars on em all the time

You don't have to be black to wear Jordan's or Lebrons......

And certain Vans can be limited as well. Disney edition Vans for instance

At least the cardboard has autographs of sports legends on them, or pieces of game-worn memorabilia. The shoes are just shoes.

Yeah shoes something you wear everyday unless you carry your cards around in your pocket or have them hanging on your necklace, that would be pretty funny to see though
