Who to collect? Durant or Kobe Autos??

So I am starting to collect again and cannot decide between Durant or Kobe Autos? What are your thoughts?

I don't collect either, but I think Durant is the right choice based on the quality of autograph alone. Durant's auto is a nicer and larger auto. Plus with Kobe being the face of Panini you best be sure they're going to be releasing them for years to come. Kobe autos are losing value by the day it seems. Last point I like to make is Kobe's career is close to being over while Durant has a good chance to be this years MVP. I could be wrong one or all points, but that's my opinion from afar.

If you're just starting out, I would recommend collecting an active players cards.
Kobe's career is nearing the end.

Kobe, some of his auto are under $120 or even $100.

KD! He's in his prime, the MVP, leading his team in the playoffs. I love being able to see the guys who I collect play live!

I would say Kobe, there are so many different types to choose from, particularly early topps and ud autos

I made my PC collection based on who i enjoy watching.. Who do you enjoy watching more? Kobe or Durant? For me personally, i would go with Durant as he still has more years in him. You will get the same amount of cards in new products regardless (panini will milk Kobe as long as he is under contract with them) but for me personally, i would want to see Durant score 50 and win the playoffs while i am actually collecting his stuff..

KD, he'll be relevant for 10-15 more years and if he ever wins his cards can increase.

Yeah I have had others tell me to go with KD as well, for a lot of the same reasons you all are telling me. So I think that is what I will do and personally I love watching KD play!
