Default A card shop near New Albany, Indiana?

I hate to say it, but I live in a place where barely any card shops exist. I need to find a good one. Any help?

Welcome to the boards. Probably the wrong section to post this, but that's ok. I know what you mean about no shops. I live about halfway between where you are and Evansville and have to go the hour or so either way to get to one. Anyway, Jeffersonville, IN has a shop called Hockeyman's. It's a little whole in the wall place, but it's pretty good. The owner, Ken, is really nice. I first met him at the flea markets they have in Louisville and that's when I found out about his shop. Don't get there nearly as much as I would like. If you make it mention that Derrick the Pacers collector that goes to the flea market sent you. Hopefully he'll know who you are talking about. Sorry for the long post.

Thanks, I'll have to stop by there. There's one in Clarksville that isn't bad, he just doesn't keep a whole lot there.

Run across the river to East End Sports Cards in Louisville. Dave is the owner, super nice guy who loves to tell all kinds of stories. My Dad just moved to Evansville so not sure if there are any shops in Evansville.

I heard East End was nice, I'm going to stop in there sometime.

Slick, you ever hit anything at Hockeyman's?

Like I said I don't get there as often as I would like so I don't have a huge sample size. I usually do have solid boxes from there though when I do pick some up. The two best things I remember are a Kyrie Irving Prizm rookie auto and way back when my cousin pulled a Karl Malone jersey out of a single pack of 98-99 UD2 MJ Access from the flea market I mentioned.

Well, I stopped in there the other day and it was a little bit awkward because whoever I was talking to didn't know much about the basketball cards, but he was nice and very helpful. I picked up a few things from there and wasn't disappointed. (Talking about Hockeyman's)

East End is solid. I stop in there a lot when I'm in town.

There's nothing in Evansville.

Well, I'll be stopping in East End in the next couple weeks then I guess to see what they've got for me to snatch up. Haha.
