Default 2013 Panini EEE Wacha green ink faded.. need opinions

Hey guys I won this on ebay and was hoping it wasn't as bad as it looked but I just got it today and its pretty faded. Do you guys think I could contact Panini and ask about a replacement or am I totally screwed here?.. I mean its still a nasty card /10 and obviously its been signed but its far worse then those sweet spot autos from years back.. Please give your opinions..
Thanks for taking the time!!

If you bought a card on the secondary market I don't see how you would be entitled to anything from the manufacturer.

They won't do anything about that..

Card has been displayed in direct light (sun and or bulbs beaming down on the card)

So you bought something faulty, and because it was faulty, you expect a replacement? The card has no warranty, you are not entitled to anything.

But you didn't get it directly from them. The previous owner could've done something that changed the auto, we don't know.

Say somebody buys an iPod. They crack it and sell it to you. Do you think Apple will do anything if you complain about the broken iPod?

I'm not saying I'm entitled to anything.. Just wondering if they would replace it.. Why is everyone acting like I'm trying to stick up a bank or something?

We're just saying how will not get a replacement because you bought it from someone else not affiliated with Panini.

If you opened a box of EEE and pulled this card like this, then maybe, but now? You can't get it replaced.

This may not be accurate. Each state has its own laws regarding implied warranties. These implied warranties are most often based on dates of purchase and transfer of ownership has no bearing.

You can not void a States implied warranty regardless of a companies policy. Additionally there are a few federal warranty protections that are afforded to the customer.

I am not sure how exactly a card fits into this though.

@DaveTaplin, that's all I was asking.. I mean I'm not expecting anything.. I bought the card for my collection regardless of the defect but if I can get it fixed at no cost by a billion dollar company who made the card be defective why wouldnt I?.. I appreciate everyone's opinions and I really think its worth a shot.. If you buy a car and it has a 100000 mile warranty that transfers if you sell it to another owner before 100000 miles no?

Ask for opinions and you get butt hurt?

Here's the issue, the companies do not have to replace the cards that get sent out, even if you are the one busting the product. Its a gamble. They do it for good PR. Someone like you who is abusing their good nature.

The thing is that its a card from a random pack. Nothing is guaranteed to be in that individual pack, so the contents are null and void when the pack is opened. Its a gamble.
