According to groupbreakchecklists.com there are 327 total players/historical figures represented on the checklist. Each slot purchased will be randomly assigned with one of these players on the checklist. If a card of that player is pulled it is yours!

RULES:

-If you hit a card worth $250 or more, I will ask you to pay for upgraded shipping - priority mail, signature confirmation, and insurance. It looks like there is a decent chance of this happening. Please be prepared to pay for upgraded insurance.

- If you join this break, you must be willing to pay within 48 hours of the break going active.

- If you join this break, you must subscribe to this thread. It makes life SO MUCH EASIER.

- Once you receive your cards, please post in the thread that your cards were received.

- International members PLEASE PM me first before joining.

- Once you receive your cards, please post in the thread that your cards were received. For anything outside the USA, I will provide the customs # as proof of delivery. This rule is so that Blowout Cards can see that you have received your cards and it makes it easier for me to open another break.

-All cards will be shipped within 4 days after the break occurs

-This is a HIGH RISK, HIGH REWARD break. It is very likely that you wont hit anything. Everyone will receive a package regardless if you hit or not. If you do not hit it will be a base card of my choosing from a random set.

Very true. You stand to make a large profit off of this break using this format.

All within the guidelines of blowout. Still need to buy supplies for 300+ packages including ink, mailers, adhesive labels, toploaders ,team bags, etc...

Even if I cut the supplies cost by 40%, you save like $0.50.

I mean this in the most respectful way possible, but if you don't like it don't join.

yeah, i was just running figures in my head, current prices are HUGE profits, way over the 10% allowed, lol. $7 first slot and $6 every slot more seems about right.

why oh why? that is just a ton of waste, and even if so, the second slot should be nowhere near the initial price. the first slot covers the junk mail, ok , but all slots thereafter should barely be over pure slot cost.

understandable, but the last similar break i was in the shipping was simply refunded if you didn't hit a card. Seems like a waste of your time and the break members money to send a random base card to those who hit nothing. Also additional spots should cost at least 2.50 less should they not?

Again not sure where this math is coming from.

If the base cost before shipping is $5.66 + $2 (shipping) + $1 (supplies MAILERS, LABELS, INK, TOPLOADERS) + $0.59 (PayPal fee) = $9.25

The $0.75 extra a spot is what makes this break worth my time. Not sure about all you but shipping over 300+ packages isn't going to be all that fun.

Shipping everyone a card protects me from PayPal. I then don't have nearly 300 paid items that are not shipped. Looks a bit fishy considering the idea of a group break is against policy.

I get what the other guys are talking about. Houdini did something like this here is the one thread I found:

You take the shipping cost of every card so 32 cards x 2.50 = $80

Then divide the $80 by the number of slots to equal the actual cost of shipping per slot which should be .25 and the people who don't get hits don't get packages that's the gamble in it just like every other group break

Just to further reiterate my point, I'm not looking to rip anyone off. This is how I calculated my numbers. I don't see making $0.75 profit on each spot as an unreasonable profit, especially with the amount of shipping I will be doing. You are welcome to disagree but no one is making you join the break

First slot price covers junk mail, for your protection, OK, understood, no problem. however second slot should be barely over pure slot cost, due to chances are those are empty hits to.

You are correct, I will drop the cost of additional slots as it does seem a bit unfair. Just hoping you see my point that I am only really profiting $0.75 on each first slot purchased.

I think everyone's fine with you profiting $0.75 on the first slot...its the slots after that, that are in question...

most likely people aren't going to hit anything with that 2nd, third, fourth whatever slot, so the base card you are shipping with their first slot (which they paid shipping for) is costing them $2.25 to ship...doubt the extra base card is adding much weight to the first package. So basically, you end up profiting $2.25 on each spot after the first one...so if everyone bought 2 slots, thats 160 people or so...profit $0.75 on the first slot (very acceptable), but $2.25 on the 2nd slot x 160 people = $360

But anyway, regardless, good luck on your break, hope you pull a monster out of it
