Very Cheap Basketball Monthly Club - January

For this club, we are looking at like 1-6 boxes ($250-$300 range total) to break each month.

Each month, I will randomize each members name on random.org and whomever is at the top of the list will get to choose which boxes ($250-$300 total range) that they want the group to bust for the month.

I am looking for a 6 month commitment from each member. If we are all filled up with members, I will start up a "backup list" for those wanting to join. If a member wants to leave before the 6 month commitment ends, they can have someone from the backup list take their spot. However, if a member leaves before the 6 month commitment is up, I will enforce a 6 month period before they can try to rejoin the club.

Teams will get randomized by a Mod each month.

All breaks will be done live on blogtv.

**If you happen to not get anything good or anything at all in a given month for the team you got assigned to you, I will allow the option to have free shipping charges for the next month's break by combining the cards from the 2 months together and send them out all at once.**

*This month, JDThaRealist got to choose the boxes.

When sending a Paypal payment to the host, protect yourself by sending as goods (not gift). If a payment is sent as a "gift", you eliminate your chance of filing a chargeback should the need arise. If possible, fund the payment with a credit card to be fully protected.

just an fyi, its a team random, not a hit break, so you are not guaranteed to get anything if you are a part of this break...

FYI There are going to be some issues with those SP Authentic boxes that will need to be figured out before the break. Like who gets what cards.

Since the players are in college uniforms with no mention at all of NBA affilliation, which NBA team do they go to?
The team that drafted them?
The team that they started out playing for? (if they were traded right after the draft: like Jordan Hamilton drafted by Mavericks, then traded to the Nuggets)
The team that they are on now?
The team that they were on last? (if they were cut or are an older retired player)

So Michael Jordan's cards go to Bulls (where he started)? Wizards (where he ended up)? And Lebron James goes to to Cavs (where he started)? Heat (where he is now)?

And just to make things really strange, there are also players in these boxes that were good in college but never got drafted or picked up as free agents by an NBA team so now they are playing in Europe or China. Who gets those autos?

The top tier players and the RCs should be easy to determine.

Current players will go to their current teams for the 2 sp authentic boxes. Retired players will go to the team that most sets show them wearing, so Jordan would be Bulls. I will try to compile a lists of the better players with team they would go to, in case there are disagreements later as to which team gets the card. As for rookies/coaches that never got drafted/signed at all with a team, if we run across any of these, we will just random them off in the end.

I will try my best to compile a list of players and teams they will go to. I will base most of the retired players with the team that they are shown playing for in most 2010-11 cards. Some players, such as Robert Horry, are shown in both Rockets and Lakers, so I will choose one or the other.
